Abstract

The purpose of this study is (1) to determine the effectiveness of the receipt of the Kupang City terminal retribution. (2) to find out the growth of terminal charges in Kupang City. (3) to determine the contribution of terminal fees on the Kupang City PAD. This study uses quantitative data, which is a type of data that can be measured or calculated directly in the form of information or explanations expressed in numbers or in the form of numbers. The data source used in this study is secondary data, namely research data obtained indirectly through intermediary media or or obtained or recorded by other parties. The sample used in this study is the target, realization, effectiveness, growth and contribution of PAD from the Kupang City terminal from 2014-2018 calculated based on the formula of effectiveness, growth and contribution The results of the study were obtained: The effectiveness level in Kupang terminal fluctuated, where the level of effectiveness in 2014 was 11.03%, in 2015 was 12.80%, in 2016 was 10.83%, in 2017 was 9.01%, and the year 2018 of 8.03%. From the results of the percentage above it can be said that the effectiveness level in Kupang Terminal is not effective every year, this is because the effective level every year does not meet the category or below 60%. The growth of the Kupang terminal annually fluctuates, 2014 is used as a base year, so that, in 2015 the growth was 16.15%, but in 2016 the growth dropped dramatically from the previous year of -15.45%, whereas in 2017 growth began to experience another increase to 6.45% and in 2018 growth has decreased again by -10.92%. Terminal contributions to the Original Local Revenue (PAD) every year also always experience fluctuations, and the lowest contribution occurred in 2014 with a percentage of 10.25%. The highest contribution of terminal fees was in 2017 with a percentage of 15.31%. The contribution of terminal retribution to the original revenue of kupang city in 2014 was the smallest because the original revenue of kupang city was greater than the realization of the terminal retribution, so that its contribution was low on regional original revenue. Based on the results of this study it is hoped that the City Government of Kupang in this case the UPT Terminal will always be orderly in attracting terminal fees so that it can increase the Regional Original Revenue (PAD) of the City of Kupang
