Abstract

The leaching of manganese ore from Kaubeleh village has successfully. This research aims to determine the influence of H2O2 reductions in the leaching by the hydrometallurgical. Manganese ore leaching by the hydrometallurgy using a H2SO4 4 M as a solvent with a variation of H2O2 and variation time 60 minutes and 90 minutes at temperature 90 °C and the stirring speed is 200 rpm. The resulting of leaching filtrate neutralized with NaOH until the pH is 6 and filtered. The filtrate heated at 90 °C to form MnSO4 crystals. Based on XRF analysis, the percentage of MnSO4 crystals that leached with H2O2 0.8 M in 60 minutes and 90 minutes is 3.1% and 4.2%. Meanwhile, the leach with H2O2 1 M in 60 minutes and 90 minutes, obtained MnSO4 is 2.4% and 2.0%. The XRD analysis of crystal solids MnSO4 confirms the position angle of 2θ is 33.88°; 40.72°; 58.10°; 72.90°, and 74.03°.
