Abstract
The objectives of this study are: 1) To describe the performance, work motivation,organizational support, management support and competence of employees at Health Department of Timor Tengah Selatan (TTS) District. 2) To find out how significant is the influence of work motivation on the performance of the employees at Health Department of TTS District in Managing Stunting. 3) To reveal how significant is the influence of the organizational support on the performance of the employees at Health Department of TTS District in Managing Stunting. 4) To find out how significant is the influence of management support the performance of the employees at Health Department of TTS District in managing stunting. 5) To reveal how significant is the influence of the employees’ competence at Health Department of TTS District in Managing Stunting. The research field was Health Department of TTS District. The population of this study was the employees of the Health Department of TTS District that consists of 67 civil servants. Analysis teckni of 1). Descriptive analysis. 2). SmartPLS was used to analyze the data. The results of the descriptive analysis shown that each variable achieved the following indicators: 67.20 for performance, 67.51 for work motivation, 67.13 for organizational support, 67.5 for management support and 67.06 for competence. This means that all variables are good enough. The results of the path analysis shown that 1) the variable of work motivation had a significant effect on the employee performance variable at Health Department of TTS District in managing stunting with a significance value of 0.000. 2) The organizational support variable had a significant effect on the employee performance variable at the Health Department of TTS District in Managing Stunting with a significance value of 0.036. 3) The management support variable had a significant effect on the employees’ performance variable at the Health Department of TTS District in Managing Stunting with a significance value of 0.001. 4) The competency variable did not have a significant effect on employee performance variable at the Health Department of TTS District in Managing Stunting with a significance value of 0.357. 5) The coefficient of determination (R²) shown that motivation, organizational support, management support and competence variables influenced performance variable for 92.8%. Based on these findings, the researchers suggested the management of Health Department of TTS District to 1) Guide and motivate the employees to make changes. 2) Create comfortable working environment. 3) Provide supporting facilities. 4) Improve competence by providing a budget for employees’ trainings to improve their skills.
