Abstract

Cooperative learning model type Numbered Head Together is a cooperative learning model designed to influence students 'interaction patterns and as an alternative to traditional classroom structures, to enhance students' thinking creativity in finding and finding themselves and building knowledge through personal interaction and communication between students and teacher in the teaching and learning process. The main problem in this study is how are the results of the application of cooperative learning model type numbered head together the subject matter of Newton's law in class VIIIG students of Kupang 11 State Middle School Odd Semester Academic Year 2018/2019? And in detail the problems in this study are: 1) How is the teacher's ability to manage learning by applying Numbered Head Together type learning model? 2) How are the cooperative skills of students by applying Numbered Head Together type cooperative learning models? 3) What is the completeness of student learning outcomes indicators by applying Numbered Head Together type learning model? 4) What is the completeness of the learning outcomes of students by applying the Numbered Head Together type cooperaive learning model? 5) What is the response of students to learning activities by applying Numbered Head Together type cooperative learning models? The main objective in this study was to describe the results of the application of the Numbered Head Together type learning model of Newton's Law subject matter in class VIIIG students of SMP Negeri 11 Kupang Odd Semester 2018/2019 school year and in detail the objectives of this study were: 1) Describe the teacher's ability in manage physics learning by applying Numbered Head Together type learning models. 2) Describe the cooperative skills of students by applying Numbered Head Together type cooperative learning models. 3) Describe the completeness of the indicator of student learning outcomes by applying the Numbered Head Together type learning model. 4) Describe the completeness of student learning outcomes by applying Numbered Head Together type learning model. 5) Describe the response of students to learning activities by applying Numbered Head Together type learning models. This type of research is descriptive research and the subject of this research is the teacher (researcher) and students of class VIIIG of SMP Negeri 11 Kupang in the odd semester of 2018/2019 school year, totaling 32 students. The techniques used in data collection are observation, tests and questionnaires. As well as the selection technique of the subjects used is purposive sampling technique. The instrument used in this study is a learning management observation sheet by applying the cooperative learning model type Numbered Head Together Newton's main law material, observation sheets of students' cooperative skills in learning activities, learning outcomes indicators (Cognitive, Affective and Psychomotor), learning outcomes (Cognitive , Affective and Psychomotor) and student response sheets. The results of the research data analysis technique used is quantitative descriptive analysis including calculating the average score, percentage, and proportion. Based on the results of descriptive statistical analysis, research data said that in general the implementation of Numbered Head Together type of cooperative learning model was optimal for the subject matter of Newton's Law in class VIIIG students of SMP Negeri 11 Kupang Odd Semester 2018/2019 school year, totaling 32 students. In detail 1) the teacher's ability to manage learning by applying Numbered Head Together type learning model which includes: planning, implementing and planning learning evaluation is in a good category. 2) the cooperative skills of students are all within the criteria for effectiveness. 3) indicators of learning outcomes which include: indicators of cognitive, affective and psychomotor learning outcomes are all complete. 4) student learning outcomes which include: cognitive, affective and psychomotor learning outcomes are all complete. 5) the response of students to the learning activities carried out by the teacher covering 5 aspects and all in very good categories.
