Abstract
Activities are all activities carried out both physically and spiritually. Learning activities are shown by behavioral changes. The process skills approach is interpreted as an approach in the learning process that focuses on the activities and creativity of students to develop the physical and mental abilities that they already have to a higher level in processing their learning gain. Cognitive learning outcomes are values obtained by students on cognitive aspects. The formulation of the problem in this study are: 1) What is the description of the learning activities of students and the process skills approach to the cognitive learning outcomes of the heat and the displacement of the seventh grade students of Kupang Middle School 2? 2)How is the Completion of Learning Outcomes Indicators (IHB) and Learning Outcomes Complete Cognitive subject matter of heat and its displacement in class VII students of Kupang Middle School 2? 3) Is there a partial influence between student learning activities and results Learning cognitive class VII Kupang SMP Negeri 2? 4) Is there a partial effect between the Process and Results Skills Approach Cognitive Learning of the seventh grade students of Kupang State Middle School 2? 5) Is there a simultaneous influence between Learning Activities and Process Approach Skills to Results Cognitive Learning of Grade VII students of Kupang Middle School 2? The purpose of this study is 1) To find out the description of student learning activities and the process skills approach to learning outcomes of seventh grade students of Kupang State Middle School 2 academic year 2018/2019. 2) To find out the completeness of the learning outcomes indicators and the completeness of the cognitive learning outcomes of students the subject matter of heat and the transfer of class VII Kupang Middle School 2 academic year 2018/2019. 3) To find out the effect of student learning activities and cognitive learning outcomes of students. 4) To know the influence between Process Approach Skills and cognitive Learning Outcomes of students. 5) To find out the influence between Learning Activities and the Skill Approach Process together with the cognitive Learning Outcomes of students. The type of research used is descriptive research and associative research. The population in this study were VII grade students of Kupang State Middle School 2, who were sampled as students of class VII B Kupang State Middle School 2, taken by simple random sampling method The results showed that there was a simultaneous influence between Learning Activities and the Skill Approach Process on Cognitive Learning Outcomes of students seen from the large contribution of the two independent variables to the dependent variable at 86.8%.
