Abstract

The purpose of writing this scientific paper is to find out how the results of learning applying the guided inquiry approach to students of class XI IPA Ki Hajar Dewantoro Kupang High School. The results of writing scientific pap ers can be used as a guide for educators in applying approaches in the learning process. The guided inquiry approach is an approach in learning that places students as learning subjects. Students have a role to discover for themselves the core of the learn ing material itself through various activities. The teacher plays the role of guiding and acting to bring change, facilitators, and motivators for their students. The results of writing this scientific paper based on Field Pengalalan Practice (PPL) is learning that applies the guided inquiry approach effectively used in the learning process especially the learning of chemistry that is closely related to experimentation. In the learning process that applies the guided inquiry approach, the teacher acts as a class leader who controls and explains certain parts of the learning such as events, data, concepts that are not understood by students. While students act as learning subjects, all learning activities are carried out by students, students are directed to find and find out for themselves what is being questioned.
