Abstract

Teams cooperative learning Assited Individualization is a learning model where students learn together in small groups consisting of 4 to 6 students who are equal but heterogeneous, abilities, gender, ethnicity or race and contribute to each other's thoughts and responsible for the achievement of learning outcomes individually or in groups. Each group consists of students with high, medium, low and different gender abilities. The main problem in this study is how are the results of the application of cooperative learning model type TAI Newton's main legal material for students in class VIII E odd semester in Kupang 1 Junior High School 2018/2019 Academic Year? Specifically the problems in this study are: 1) How is the teacher's ability to manage learning activities by applying cooperative learning model type TAI subject matter Newton Law? 2) How are the cooperative skills of students in learning activities by implementing TAI type cooperative learning models? 3) What is the completeness of learning outcomes indicators in learning by applying the TAI type of cooperative learning model? 4) What is the completeness of learning outcomes in learning by applying the TAI type of cooperative learning model? 5) How do students respond to learning activities by applying the TAI type of cooperative learning model? The main objective in this study was to describe the results of the implementation of the cooperative learning model type TAI subject matter Newton Law on students of class VIII E Odd Semester 1 Kupang Middle School academic year 2018/2019. Specifically the objectives of this study are: 1) Describe the ability of the teacher in managing learning activities by applying the cooperative learning model of the TAI type. 2) Describe the cooperative skills of students in learning activities by applying TAI type cooperative learning models. 3) Describe the completeness of learning outcome indicators in learning by applying the TAI type cooperative learning model. 4) Describe the completeness of the participants' learning outcomes by applying the TAI type cooperative learning model. 5) Describe the response of students to learning activities by applying the TAI type cooperative learning model. This type of research is descriptive. Subjects in this study were teachers and students of class VIII E of SMP Negeri 1 Kupang in the 2018/2019 academic year totaling 31 people. The techniques used in data collection are observation, tests and questionnaires. Learning tools used in this study are Learning Materials for Students, Learning Implementation Plans, Student Worksheets, and Learning Outcomes Test Grids. While the instruments used in this study are Learning Management Observation Sheet with TAI type cooperative learning model, Learning Outcomes Test (product, psychomotor and affective), Aspect Assessment Sheet (affective and psychomotor) and Student Response Questionnaire. The data analysis technique of this research is descriptive analysis (calculating the average score, proportion and percentage) Starting from the results of the descriptive analysis it was found that the teacher's ability to manage learning by applying the TAI type of cooperative learning model which includes learning planning, learning implementation and learning evaluation is included in the good category. The cooperative skills of students include: being in a task, taking a turn and sharing tasks, listening actively, asking or answering and making conclusions are all within the range of the ideal average set of effectiveness. The indicators of learning outcomes (product, psychomotor and affective) that are prepared mostly complete. The learning outcomes of students (product, psychomotor and affective) that are prepared are mostly completed. While the students' response to the learning process by applying the TAI type of cooperative learning model is in the very good category. Based on the description above, it was stated that the application of the TAI type of cooperative learning model of the subject matter of Newton's Law was applied well to students of class VIII E Kupang 1 State Junior High School in 2018/2019.
