Abstract
This paper discusses the development of a science learning tool Discovery learning model. This research aims to develop the science learning device Discovery learning model. Many problems are still experienced by teachers during the teaching and learning process at school, the problems they experience are in the form of student inactivity and the teacher-centered learning process. This happens because the teacher is not creative enough to make learning tools. Learning tools referred to are the , the learning process design (RPP), student worksheets and teaching materials learning tools used must be in accordance with the model, method, and approach so that the learning process is directed. The implication of this research is that Teachers as educators are expected to be able to develop learning devices so that the learning process received by students can be varied so that students can be active in learning, primarily able to link learning with daily experiences; guided discovery learning (discovery learning) is very effectively applied in the learning process making students very enthusiastic about learning while discovering the concepts themselves learned; and the process of development should be done perfectly in order to get maximum results.
