Abstract

Learning outcomes is ability which is obtained someone after to do learning activity. That ability was obtained covering 4 aspects that is: aspects of spiritual attitude (KI1), apects of social attitude (KI 2), aspects of knowledge (KI 3) and aspects of skills (KI 4). In this research more directde to aspects of knowledge (KI 3). To know success from aspects of knowledge then used learning methods right. The method used that is Discovery Learning approach. Discovery Learning approach is a learning approachto develop learning methods for active students by discovering on their own, investigate if your self, then the results obtained will be loyal and long lasting in memory and will not be easily forgetten by students.Purpose of the paper is (1) to describeout learning than applies the discovery learningapproach and student learning out comes that aningpples discovery learning of Redox and Elecktrochemical cells students class XII IPA 2 based on field experience 2019. (2) to describelearning outcomes enhancement of high school chemistry theory by using Discovery Learning based on study literature.Analysis was obtained (1) student learning outcomesaspect knowledge (KI 3) withthe discovery learning approachof Redox and Elecktrochemical cells theory students class XII IPA 2based on field experience 2019that isdeclared complete with an average value of 81,09. (2) student learning out comes enhancement of high school chemistry theory based on 3 study literature which is analyzed by formula N-Gain showing average increase as follows: Pre-cycle stage to cycle one of 0,53 (moderate), pre-cycle to cycle two of 1,00 (high) and cycle one to cycle two of 0,27 (low).
