Abstract

Perum BULOG is one of the state institutions that has the authority to handle domestic staple food needs, one of which is the distribution of rice to launch the Non-Cash Food Assistance (BPNT) program. Perum BULOG NTT Divre has four warehouses namely GBB Alak, GDT Sanggaoen Rote, GBB Ledeana Sabu and GDT Karang Sirih Soe as source areas and 32 regions for rice distribution. The problem experienced by Perum BULOG Divre NTT is the expenditure of funds large enough for rice distribution activities to launch the BPNT program. In fact, there is often an increase in distribution costs due to reduced warehouse stock so that it must obtain rice from other warehouses that have the largest capacity. This study aims to design and build a desktop-based application by applying the Least Cost method that can allocate the distribution of BULOG rice based on consumer demand, which is more optimal by producing a minimum distribution cost to obtain maximum benefit for Perum BULOG Divre NTT.
