Abstract
Timor Tengah Selatan Regency (TTS) is one of the districts that is veryfamous because it has many tourist areas in each sub-district, even the villages in TTS Regency. Many information systems that provide information about TTS tourism areas have been created. However, only displaying images and names that are presented in conventional map form, newspaper advertising media also do not provide direct directions to the location of the tourist destination. The existing information system still has shortcomings, namely tourists do not get direct instructions about the location of their tourist destinations. Therefore we need technology that can provide information about tourist objects, namely geographic information systems (GIS). The information that provides an explanation in tourism information must contain real and correct data and images. So that tourists who want to travel to TTS Regency but still don't know the location or place of interesting tourist objects to visit can find out. To solve this problem, the author uses a digital mapping model approach in the form of web- based GIS using google maps as the digital map. The application will be developed with a PHP program and a MySQL database as a data storage area. Geographical Information System (GIS) of natural attractions has two programs, namely an admin program to manage web-based tourism data and a user program to display web-based tourist objects. This geographic information system aims to provide convenience and speed to the public in obtaining information about natural attractions in TTS.
