Abstract

Cooperative Learning Model is a learning model with a small team grouping system. Based on the comparison of the types of Cooperative Learning Models the Jigsaw type was chosen to be applied because in the Cooperative Learning Model Type Jigsaw students will learn the material in the expert and origin groups so that all students will be actively involved and have their respective responsibilities in the implementation of learning. Jigsaw Type Cooperative Learning Model divides students into small groups with members of 4-6 people who are heterogeneous and positive interdependence and are independently responsible for the completeness of teaching material that must be learned and convey it to members of the original group. This study aims to develop learning tools using the Jigsaw cooperative model on optical devices.
