Abstract

The implementation of task and function of Land Transport Office Area XIII East Nusa Tenggara Province is influenced by three aspects, which are staffing, competence and organizational commitment. The main problem that leads to this research is that performance of the staff of Land Transport Office Area XIII East Nusa Tenggara Province is still low. The sample of this research are all 91 staff members of Land Transport Office Area XIII East Nusa Tenggara Province. Data was collected through questionnaire, and analyzed by descriptive and inferential statistics method. Results of descriptive statistical analysis show that Competence variable gained average score 66.40, category Pretty Good, and Staffing variable gained average score 66, category Pretty Good. Organizational Variable gained average score 70.52, category Good, and Staff Performance gained average score 67.45, category Good. Results of inferential statistical analysis show that probability value of competence on organizational commitment is significant, probability value of staffing on organizational commitment is significant, probability value of competence on staff performance is significant, probability value of staffing to staff performance is not significant, and probability value of organizational commitment to staff performance is significant. Out of all hyphotesis, only one is denied, which staffing on staff performance. Based on research results, it is suggested that Land Transport Office Area XIII East Nusa Tenggara Province need to increase the performance of its staff, especially related to their competence, staffing and organizational commitment.
