Abstract

This focuses his study on Three issues. Namely: How the mechanism of the work of Local Village Facilitators, how the challenges faced by local village assistants in implementation and most recently is the benefit of having a local village assistant in the implementation of development in the West Hauteas Village. This study emphasizes direct observation of going into the field to extract data through interviews and is supported by relevant literature reference sources to analyze data findings. The method used is descriptive qualitative. In this study, researchers were directly involved in gathering information. The informants in this study were the village head of West Hauteas village, secretary, treasurer, Village Empowerment Assistant (PDP), Village Technical Engineering Assistant (PDTI), Village Local Assistant (PLD), and the community of West Hauteas Village. This study uses public policy theory and effectiveness that analyzes the work mechanism of local village facilitators, benefits, challenges of PLD in development. The results of this study indicate that the work mechanism of the Village Local Companion in development in West Hauteas Village includes several stages, namely the planning, implementation, and monitoring / evaluation stages. Judging from the role of the community regarding development such as the lack of aspirations in the Musdus, Musdes and Musrenbangdes forums. Community awareness of development needs to be increased because the community is more concerned with personal interests than participation in the implementation of development.
