Abstract

The implementation of the Malaka Agricultural Revolution Program is important to know to be able to know the improvements made by the government in meeting the needs of agriculture in its program to improve the economy of the farming community in agricultural development or improve the quality of farmers. Seeing the existing circumstances, the author wants to examine further the implementation of the program, whether it is relevant in agricultural development,and in improving the quality of farming communities. Therefore, researchers are interested in examining how the implementation of the Malacca Agricultural Revolution Program (RPM) 2018 in Malaka District, and what factors influence the implementation of the Malacca Agricultural Revolution (RPM) 2018 in Malaka District. The problem approach is carried out using secondary data through qualitative descriptive writing, as a procedure for producing descriptive data in the form of written or oral words to answer the two writing objectives above. The analysis is done using secondary data sourced from scientific publications, website publications, documents, and statistical data that gives the possibility of drawing conclusions and taking action. This study uses the theory of George C. Edward III. The results showed: (1) Communication in Aspects Increased intensity of companion by the RPM team and training for PPL. Communication in the aspect of increasing cooperation and involvement by relevant agencies in this case the government of the community as farmers is one of the functions and tasks of a team so that the process of exchanging messages in communication that is established produces clear input in its assistance. (2) Resources in the Aspect of Increasing Agricultural Facilities. Increasing farmer resources and empowerment that are part of the process of facilitating and encouraging farming communities to be able to become the main actors in utilizing existing facilities. So that, in its utilization it can produce efficiently and guarantee the fulfillment of food and obtain marketable results. (3) Disposition in the aspect of Increasing Production and Productivity of RPM Commodities. To increase agricultural productivity and production, increasing knowledge and insight on plant cultivation techniques is applied in its implementation. (4) Bureaucratic structure in aspects of enhancing cooperation and involvement of related institutions. In supporting the realization of food selfsufficiency and the success of the RPM program, the division of tasks in the involvement of agencies became one of the important roles in the Malaka Agricultural Revolution program. Based on the results of this study, the authors suggest, including that; (1) for the government of the Malacca Regency, the need to provide more directives as part of improving the skills of farmers in operating suntan. (2) for the Malacca Regency government, the need to increase the intensity of assistance by Field Extension Officers (PPL) so that in its implementation, the Malaka Agricultural Revolution Program can last even longer.
