Abstract
Discovery learning approach is a learning approach to develop active students' learning methods by finding their own problems, so the results obtained will not be easily forgotten by students. Based on observations during Field Experience (PPL) at SMA Negeri 6 Kupang, there were some problems that students were less actively involved in during the learning process, most of the students did not have attention and interest in the chemistry learning process so that the authors applied the discovery learning approach so that students can be directly involved in the learning process, students find, know and report themselves what it is and the teacher only acts as a facilitator and does not dominate during the learning process. The purpose of this paper is to see the learning outcomes of students who apply the discovery learning approach to the material. Factors Affecting the Shifting of Equilibrium Direction based on field experience practice in SMA Negeri 6 Kupang for the 2019/2020 academic year. The sample taken was students of class XI IPA 2 SMA Negeri 6 Kupang in the 2019/2020 school year which got 33 people. From the results of data analysis based on Field Experience Practices (PPL), it is obtained: a). The learning outcomes of the knowledge aspect (KI-3) are declared complete with an average value of 81.15, b). The psychomotor aspect of learning outcomes (KI-4) was declared complete with an average value of 82.95. c). Overall learning outcomes, namely the knowledge aspect (KI-3) and the psychomotor aspect (KI-4) were declared complete with an average value of 80.95.
