The analysis of this research is multiple linear regression analysis using the SPSS program to examine the effect of the number of tourists, the number of hotels and the number of restaurants on labor absorption in Kupang City. The results of this study indicate that partially the number of tourists does not have a significant / real effect on labor absorption as seen from t with Sig. <α = 0.05, 0.257> 0.05 then Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted, the number of hotels has a significant / significant effect on labor absorption seen from t with Sig. <α = 0.05, 0.001 <0.05 then Ho is accepted and Ha is rejected, the number of restaurants has a significant / significant effect on labor absorption seen from t with sig. <α = 0.000 <0.05 then Ho is accepted and Ha is rejected, simultaneously the number of hotels and the number of tourists have a significant effect on labor absorption seen from F of 131.217 with Sig. 0.000> α = 0.05. then Ho was rejected and Ha accepted. Obtained R-Square value of 0.956, which means that the independent variation, namely the number of hotels and the number of tourists by 95.6% of the dependent variable, namely employment, shows a very strong relationship between the independent variable and the dependent variable. Based on the results of this study, it is suggested that the government and related parties are expected to maintain the stabilization of the tourism sector, especially increasing the development of the number of tourist visits. Of course, it will be followed by an increase in the number of hotels so that labor absorption continues to increase or be absorbed.
