Abstract

The Roundabout road of Kupang ci ty is one the important roads in Kupang city that serves traffic in oebufu village. This PU Roundabout road is often used as an alternative connecting route from densely populated areas of Kupang city (for example Oebufu and Oepura) to important places, fo r example at several major universities in kupang city (Nusa Sandalwood University, Widya Mandira University, Artha wacana Christian University, Kupang college of Management Sciences), Eltari Airport, and several other crowded places. This results in the l arge flow of vehicles passing through this route. Besides that, the busy volume of vehicles on the PU Roundabout road section is due to the fact that there are many shops, offices, wooden furniture, food stalls and small stalls in the road area, thus increasing the density of the roads. It also estimated that this road section will increase the volume of its vehicles with the construction of a large shopping center (hypermart) and a star hotel on the PU Roundabout road. Increased activity every day on this road has resulted in an increase in the volume of traffic flow (I Wayan Juniarta, Rosma Indriyani), so that it can affect the equivalent value of passenger cars on a road. There are several factors that affect the equivalent value of passenger cars, vehicle characteristics, and location conditions. These factors significantly influence the equivalent value of passenger cars.
