Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine whether the quality of dug well water is suitable for use according to the Republic of Indonesia Minister of Health number 416/Menkes/Per/IX/1990. The total number of wells is 86 wells so in this study only 5 samples were taken at different points. The well water samples tested were physical and chemical parameters. Physical parameters namely temperature, dissolved solids were analyzed using a TDS meter, turbidity was analyzed using a turbidimeter. Of the three parameters tested in 5 samples, all of them met the requirements according to the Republic of Indonesia Ministry of Health Regulation number 416/Menkes/Per/IX/1990. For chemical parameters ie organic substances analyzed using the permanganometry method the results of 5 samples are all not eligible, hardness is analyzed using the complicationsometry method from 5 samples there are two samples that do not meet the requirements namely samples 2 and 5, while samples 1, 3 and 4 meet condition. Chloride ions were analyzed using the argentometric method. The results of 5 samples contained one sample that did not meet the requirements, namely samples 2 and 5 while samples 1, 3, and 4 met the requirements. From the results of the analysis based on physical and chemical parameters, but what exceeds the standard is the chemical pameter, namely organic substances an average of 30-40 mg/L according to the Republic of Indonesia Minister of Health Regulation number 461 /Menkes/Per/IX/1990.
