Abstract

Naimata Inpres Elementary School is one of the public schools located in Jalan Adisucipto RT.06 / RW.02 Naimata Village, Maulafa District. The process of delivering student attendance information at this time in SD Inpres Naimata is still done manually, ie the homeroom teacher will call the parent / guardian of the student if the student is absent 3 times. In addition to delivering value information to parents / guardians provided when taking report cards there are no assignments or daily test scores. Therefore it is necessary to build an application to help parents / guardians of students in obtaining information on student attendance and grades at school easily and effectively. In this study the Waterfall method is used. The Waterfall model has five stages, namely analysis, design, coding, testing and maintenance. This application was built using the PHP programming language and MySQL database using the bootstrap and codeigniter framework. In this study an SMS Gateway-based Student Monitoring System application was developed which functions as a medium of coordination between parents / guardians of students and schools and as a medium for disseminating information that is able to reach all parents / guardians of students easily and quickly.
