Abstract

The study is done using the method of maseration. Phytochemistry analysis is made with harborne’s (1987), and tests of antibacterial activity are made using diffused wells. Extract of a sample that will be tested into the bacteria, diluted with aquadest and diluted with aquadest in the concentration series: 28,57%, 14,28%, 7,14%, 3,57%, 1,78%, 0,89%, 0,44%, 0,22%, and 0,11%, as well as aquadest’s use as negative control. The sampel that was analyzed was the dried mango 250 gr, extracted with 70% ethanol. The research he obtained was: crude extract 45,17 gram with rendemen 11,78%. The physical nature of the coarse extract of pasta, red and black, is sticky and soluble in aquadest. Phytochemistry analysis, obtained positive contains alkaloid and saponin compounds. Antibacterial activity test of extract on bacteria Streptococcus mutans obtained the results that in the extract concentration 3,57%, 7,14%, 14,28%, and 28,57% were able to inhibit the growth of test bacteria, which is shown by the vast clear zones of each of the concentrations of the test extract, that is 6,56 mm, 8,13 mm, 11,67 mm, and 19,4 mm,and bacterisidal. The concentration of inhibitions grows minimum on 3,57%.
