Abstract

Problems in this study 1) What is the teacher's ability to manage learning the subject matter of vibration, waves and sounds in class VIII G SMPK Sta. Theresia Kupang by implementing the Logan Avenue Problem Solving (LAPS) learning model? 2) How is the completeness of the learner learning outcomes indicators of the subject matter of vibration, waves and sounds in class VIII G SMPK Sta. Theresia Kupang by implementing the Logan Avenue Problem Solving (LAPS) learning model? 3) What are the learning outcomes of participants in the subject matter of vibration, waves and sounds in class VIII G SMPK Sta. Theresia Kupang by implementing the Logan Avenue Problem Solving (LAPS) learning model? 4) How do students respond to the subject matter of vibration, wave and sound in class VIII G SMPK Sta. Theresia Kupang by implementing the Logan Avenue Problem Solving (LAPS) learning model? This type of research is a type of descriptive research. The research subjects were VIII G SMPK Sta. Students. Theresia "Equated" Kupang with 26 people and teachers (researchers). Data collection techniques used are observation, tests, and questionnaires. While the instruments used in this study are Learning Management Learning Sheet, Learning Outcomes Test, and Student Response Sheet. The technique of analyzing the results of the research used was descriptive analysis including the calculation of the average score, proportion and percentage. Based on the results of descriptive analysis the research data shows that in general the application of the learning model Logan Avenue Problem Solving (LAPS) is good for the subject matter of vibration, waves and sounds in class VIII G SMPK Sta. Theresia Kupang, which numbered 26 people. In detail (1) The teacher's ability to manage physics learning on the subject matter of vibration, waves and sounds in class VIII G SMPK Sta. Theresia Kupang through the application of the Logan Avenue Problem Solving (LAPS) learning model which included: learning planning with an average score of 3.91, implementing learning with an average score of 3.98, and learning evaluation in a good category with an average score of 4 , 00 and all three are in the good category. (3) Indicators (IHB) prepared as many as 9 indicators are all completed with an average proportion of ≥ 0.75 which reaches 0.82. (4) Learning outcomes of Sta. VIII G SMPK students. Theresia Kupang on the material of vibration, wave and sound as a whole is complete and there is an increase in the proportion of the correct answer from 0.47 to 0.82 with an increase of 0.47. (5) The response of students to learning Logan Avenue Problem Solving (LAPS) is generally very good, because all aspects are in a very good category because the response value given is ≥81%, which is 98.18%.
