Abstract

The data processing process in West Golewa sub-district, especially in every village , is still done manually using Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel in the process of population data collection and administrative services such as mail services needed by the community. And the storage media still uses documents so that data accumulation occurs and is vulnerable to data loss or damage. Data on births and deaths are not properly registered, making it difficult to obtain population data valid. The system currently running has many shortcomings, including allowing for errors, requiring a long time in data processing, slowing down population administration services and in the process of making annual population reports. People cannot get the information they need at any time, so there is a lot of information that is unknown. Based on the above problems, a-based population-based application was built. The method used to build this application is the Waterfall method and the programming language used is PHP and is processed using the database MySQL. This application will facilitate data collection and processing of population data as well as population administration services in West Golewa District, thereby reducing errors in data presentation, making it easier to produce year-end population reports. The application built accelerates the work performance of sub-district employees and operators in every village / sub-district. The public can access news or information and can send complaint messages through the message column provided.
