Abstract

This study aims to 1) determine the feasibility of student worksheets (LKS) based on PhET simulation on vibration material, 2) improve student learning outcomes after using student worksheets (LKS) based on PhET simulations on vibration material for class VIII SMPS Lembah Kelapa Kiwangona. The method in this research is R&D with the Borg and Gall development model which has been modified by Sugiyono. The data collection instrument used is a validation sheet. Cognitive learning outcomes test. The research design used was a one-group pretest-posttest design. The results showed that 1) the developed worksheets were feasible to use with an average V Aiken value of 0.78. 2) there is an increase in student learning outcomes of class VIII SMPS Lembah Kelapa Kiwangona with an N-gain value of 0.64 in the medium category. Learning using PhET simulations should be carried out on an ongoing basis so that students are familiar with using PhET applications or simulations, because apart from being online, this simulation can also be accessed offline.
