Abstract

In the concept of hydrology that the amount of water in a certain area on the earth’s surface is influenced by the amount of water entering (Input) and leaving (output) at a certain time. The balance of the availability (input) and the need (output) of water in a place is called the watre balance. Because water is dynamic, the value of water always change from time to time so that somewhere there is possibility of excess water (surplus) or shortage (deficit). This study applies water balance analysis in the liliba river basin, kupang city, east nusa tenggara province with the f. J mock method. The result of this study obtained the availability of 80% the lowest in april of 0,59 m3/second and the higest in desember of 3.82 m3/second, the lowest water demand in january, march, may, july, oktober, desember 2019 of 0,40 m3/sec and the highest in february 2028 0f 0,59 m3/sec, while the water balance in the liliba basin has a surplus 0f 0,1 m3/sec – 3,4 m3/sec.
