Abstract
Considering the importance of correlation between Intellectual intelligence, emotional intelligence and creative intelligence to achieve academic achievement, the following are the problem statements: 1).What is the description of intellectual intelligence, emotional intelligence and creative intelligence and learning achievement of Seminarians at Saint Michael Major Seminary Kupang, Academic Year 2020/2021? 2) Do the Intellectual Intelligence, Emotional Intelligence and Creative Intelligence partially have a significant effect on the learning achievement of Seminarians at Saint Michael Major Seminary Kupang, Academic Year 2020/2021? 3) Do the Intellectual Intelligence, Emotional Intelligence and Creative Intelligence simultaneously have a significant effect on the learning achievement of Seminarians at Saint Michael Major Seminary Kupang, Academic Year 2020/2021? The populasi of this study is 78 Seminarians of Second and Third Year, Academic Years 2018 - 2021. Due to the limited number of population, all population members are taken as sample. The data were collected using questionnaire, documentation studies, and interviews with students guardians. The collected data are analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistics. The results of descriptive statistical analysis indicate that the Seminarians learning achievement is categorized as good (72.98%), Intellectual Intelligence is good (70.08%), Emotional Intelligence is good (78.54%), and Creative Intelligence is also good (72.53%). The results of the t test show that partially the Intellectual Intelligence (4,206, sig.0.000 < 0.05), Emotional Intelligence (2.263, sig. 0.027 < 0.05), and Creative Intelligence (3,968, sig. 0.000 < 0.05) partially have a positive and significant effect on Seminarians’ Learning Achievement at Saint Michael Major Seminary, Kupang. The results of the F test indicate that Intellectual Intelligence, Emotional Intelligence and Creative Intelligence (51,186 sig. 0.000 < 0.05) simultaneously have a positive and significant effect on Seminarians’ Learning Achievement at Saint Michael Major Seminary, Kupang. The result of determination coefficient (R2) shows that the three independent variables contribute 71.6% on Seminarians’ Learning Achievement at Saint Michael Major Seminary, Kupang, while the rest of 28.4% is contributed by other variables excluded in this study. Based on these results, it is recommended to the Seminarians to: improve intellectual intelligence by actively writing scientific papers, learning to express ideas in written form and improving foreign language skills (English); improve Emotional Intelligence by being more empathetic toward fellow seminarians, and increase creativity intelligence by learning public speaking and trying to alter pessimism with optimism.
