Abstract

Education is a pillar in improving human resources. Teaching materials are all forms of materials used to assist teachers or instructors in carrying out teaching and learning activities in the classroom. The textbook used is a package book. The textbook used is very limited as a source of student learning so that it does not encourage students to actively develop skills in the form of scientific processes. Overall these books have some shortcomings in terms of appearance, the content of the material is packaged in a simple way, the reading is too long. This causes students to feel bored when reading these books. In addition, students' interest in reading is still very minimal because the text books used are less attractive. This has an impact on student learning outcomes. In addition, teachers have never developed learning tools in the form of teaching materials that support the learning process in the classroom.
