Abstract

Indonesia is known as a country that is rich in tourism potential, both on land and at sea, besides that Indonesia is also a country with the most islands in the world so it is not surprising that the tourism potential in Indonesia and NTT in particular is very abundant, this condition certainly demands human resources. Are reliable and qualified. To create reliable human beings in science and technology, it is necessary to provide an educational forum as a solution in this matter. And the presence of the College of Tourism in Kupang City is a way out to produce NTT people who are reliable in managing natural resources, in this case tourism in NTT. In general, the purpose of writing this Final Project is to design the concept of a Tourism College that is able to accommodate lecture activities and all supporting activities related to it. In addition, the shape and appearance of the planned building also takes into account the rules and transformation processes used as a design approach. From the whole writing of this Final Project and the planning concept of the College of Tourism in Kupang City, in addition to carrying out the main mission of educating the nation's life in this case, NTT's human competence in managing its tourism but also wanting to introduce Belu architecture in the design of campus buildings by applying several elements including: roofs, pillars, walls and building forms. So that not only educational knowledge is obtained but also the culture of the ancestors is still inherited.
