Abstract
Indonesia has 30,000 species of plants. Of these there are 9,600 species of plants that have medicinal benefits, only 200 species have been used as raw materials in the herbal industryfor health. These plants are used by the community to be mixed and served as herbs for healing diseases. Several types of plants can be used as traditional medicines to treat health problems because they contain chemical compounds that have biological activity, including young coconut water, red dragon fruit skin and ginger. These plants are widely used in everyday life, for example as a drink for processing dragon fruit and for making herbal medicine. Apart from having high economic value, young coconut fruit has a fairly good nutritional cmposition, which includes fatty acids and that are essential amino acids that are needed by the body. Red dragon fruit has more properties than other types of dragon fruit, for example, such as those containing carotene which functions to help maintain body immunity. The thiamine in red dragon fruit functions to help the process of changing food into energy. Ginger can be used as a herbal medicine that can be used to ttreat rheumatism and impotence. Ginger is efficacious to treat digestive disorders that are at risk of colon cancer and constipation, cure colds and help improve heart health. This research is The purpose of this study was to determine the physicocheminal properties of the combination extract of young coconut water, red dragon fruit skin and ginger to determine the content of decondary metabolite compounds from phytocheminal fuses combined extract of young coconut water, red nut skin and ginger. This research is a laboratory experimental study which includes analysis of physicochemical properties, analysis of phytochemical components. Physcochemical analysis includes solubility analysis, density determination, organoleptic anaysis (tast, smell/aroma, color) and acidity level (pH). Phytochemical component analysis includes analysis of flavonoid, saponins, tannins, triterpenoids and alkoloids. Based on the research data obtained: (1) The extract combination of young coconut water, red dragon fruit skin and ginger has physicochemical properties including 70% solubility in ethanol. (2) Combined extracts of young coconut, ginger and turmeric water contain secondary metabolites of flavonoid compounds, Tanins, saponins and triterpenoids.
