Abstract
This shows how bad it is to judge others. There is a good reason why judging is not allowed because the life of the Jews at that time was criticizing the lives of others without seeing the faults against themselves. Not judging means not justifying correction. The presence of Jesus in this world brings a mission of salvation that is open to all. The works of Jesus in this world, can still be experienced and felt by humans today. Jesus gave this teaching, so that everyone is aware that the way they treat others will be the same as the way God and others judge them. Prohibition of judging does not mean not justifying corrective actions. As people who live in one community, believers must pay attention to each other and rebuke each other. The church is responsible for judging those in the church who have sinned, as Paul explains in the Ephesians letter that He has put all things at the feet of Christ and He has given Him to the church (Ephesians 1:22). There is peace, justice and service of love, while witnessing for the sake of the gospel of present salvation and future hope. Regardless of whether rich or poor, accepted by society or not, male or female, it is not important. Jesus' mission to all people was for them to receive the good news of the coming kingdom of God. In His teaching, Jesus also emphasized the attitude of forgiveness from everyone to others like the Father who always forgives His sinful people. This compassion and forgiveness is an attitude that must be highlighted and become a harmony to others. Luke describes Jesus' teaching about judging as an expression of love and forgiveness for others. Forgiveness is defined as letting go of a mistake. Jesus' teachings on Judgment were oriented towards love for one's neighbor. In the teachings of Jesus there are several things that are emphasized including not judging, not punishing, giving to others, forgiveness to others, and not being easy to see the faults iv of others. The things that Jesus taught are with the intention that all people always live in brotherly love. In real life love and forgiveness are needed by a person in interacting with others. The act of love from Jesus' teaching in this passage is a testament to the sincere love relationship of human beings. When love has entered a person's life, that person will perform an action with love and forgiveness will automatically run in someone's life.
