Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of realistic mathematics learning in SMPS Sta students. Theresia 1 Harvest the subject of social arithmetic. To find out the learning achievements of students who are taught using realistic mathematics learning on the subject of social arithmetic. Tofind out if there is an influence of realistic mathematics learning on the learning achievements of SMPS Sta.Theresia 1 Tuapukan students. The samples in this study were grade VIIA. Description of the implementation of learning using realistic mathematical learning models, data collected that is the result of observations of the implementation of learning by two observers.. The average achievement indicator for the two meetingsobtained a value of 95.7. Maka the implementation of learning using realistic mathematics learning is classified as very good. Toknow the achievements of learning mathematics by using realistic mathematics learning, the data needed is posttest..Rata-average achievement of student math learning achievement indicators of 66.70,so it can be concluded that the achievement of learning mathematics students are taught by using realistic mathematics learning the subject of social arithmetic is relatively. The data used in the study is posttest data of experimental classes with realistic mathematical learning. The data used in this research is the data of the pretest and posttest values of the experimental class with realistic mathematics learning. The data obtained were analyzed using the SPSS version 22.0 program. Hypothesis testing using Paired Sample Test, after being analyzed the value of Sig. (2-Tailed) = 0.000. While =15,779 with df=n-1, obtained df=19 with significant level =0,025 obtained =2,093. Because of the value of Sig. (2-Tailed) = 0.000 <0.05 and =15,779>2,093=, then based on the t-test requirements and the acceptance and rejection criteria of in CHAPTER 3 with a significant level of 5%, is rejected and H_a is accepted. Thus it can be concluded that there is a significant effect on realistic mathematics learning on student achievement at VII grade SMPS Sta. Theresia 1 Tuapukan on academic year 2020/2021.The results of this study indicate that realistic mathematics learning affects the learning achievement of junior high school students. Therefore, the researcher suggests for teachers use RME as an alternative in the classroom learning in accordance with the material being taught.
