Abstract

Based on the results of interviews with Chemistry subject teachers at SMA Negeri 1 Lamba Leda, the question of the chemistry subject for Class X has not been analyzed yet so that the quality of the questions quantitatively is not yet known, especially the subject matter of electrolyte and non- electrolyte solutions in KD 3.8 regarding "Analyzing the properties of electrolyte solutions and nonelectrolyte solutions based on their electrical conductivity. so that item analysis is needed to determine the quality of the questions quantitatively in terms of validity, level of difficulty and distinguishing power of the questions. Data collection techniques in this study are: Interviews, Documentation and Questionnaires. The data analysis technique used is analysis with anates version 4.0.9 program using manual analysis. The results of the research that has been carried out on the analysis of validity, difficulty level, and discriminating power on multiple choice questions on electrolyte and nonelectrolyte solution material Class X IPA SMA Negeri 1 Lamba Leda Manggrai Timur shows that there are 2 valid questions with a percentage of 20% and questions that are not. There are 8 valid questions with a percentage of 80%, there are 2 questions that are included in the difficult category with a percentage of 20%, 7 items that are included in the medium category with a percentage of 70% and 1 item in the easy category with a percentage of 10%, and there are 3 items that include distinguishing power. weak with a percentage of 30%, 5 items including good discriminating power with a percentage of 50% and 2 items including excellent discriminating power with a percentage of 20%.
