Abstract
This study aims to 1) To determine the learning outcomes of students in physics subjects who are taught with the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model with students who are taught by the direct learning model 2) To determine the learning outcomes of students in physics subjects who are taught by the Problem model Based Learning (PBL) with students who are taught with a direct learning model in terms of learning motivation. The type of research used is quantitative research. Data collection techniques using learning outcomes and motivation questionnaires to obtain information about students learning motivation. The results of the study show that 1) There are significant differences in learning outcomes between students taught by the Problem Based Learning (PBL) method and students who are taught using conventional learning methods, students who are taught using the Problem Based Learning (PBL) method are higher compared to students who are taught by conventional learning methods, 2) There are significant differences in learning outcomes between students who are taught by the Problem Based Learning (PBL) method and students who are taught by conventional learning methods in terms of students learning motivation.
