Abstract
Avocado leaves have antioxidant activity and help in preventing and slowing oxidative and stress. Papaya leaves can be used to treat malaria, appetite enhancer, acne, increase milk, and to treat toothache. combination of avocado leaves and papaya leaves. This research is a laboratory experimental design which includes analysis of physicochemical properties, including solubility analysis, determination of density, determination of boiling point, organoleptic analysis (taste, aroma and color) and acidity (pH). Phytochemical component analysis included analysis of alkaloids, flavonoids, saponins, tannins and triterpenoids. The results obtained: (1) The extract of the combination of avocado leaves and papaya leaves has physicochemical properties such as being soluble in 96% methanol, distilled water, acetone, insoluble in chloroform and slightly soluble in diethyl ether, having a density of 0.77 gr, boiling point 66,°C, has a green color. Changes in taste from a bitter taste, a very pungent aroma to stinging and an acidity level of pH 5 (2) The combination extract of avocado leaf and avocado leaf contains a group of secondary metabolite compounds including alkaloids, flavonoids, tannins, saponins and steroids.
