Abstract

North Central Timor Regency (TTU) is a district in the province of East Nusa Tenggara (NTT) with an area of 2,669.70 km2π. There are three major tribes namely Insana, Biboki area, and Miomaffo. Each region in TTU has woven fabrics with distinctive motifs and distinctive weaving colors. With government instructions to use weaving, it can motivate people to produce woven fabrics. If weaving is applied, the community will not feel insecure about using regional woven sarongs, moreover the weaving is modified according to the current development, of course the younger generation will be interested, so we need a Multimedia application for Introduction to How to Weave TTU Regency woven fabrics to help the community know and know general techniques as well as how to weave TTU district woven motifs, so as to introduce and maintain NTT's local cultural heritage, especially TTU. The method used in this research is the multimedia development method which consists of 6 stages, namely concept, design, material collecting, assembly, testing and distribution. Data collection techniques used in this study were observation, interviews, literature study and documentation. The tools used to design this application are Adobe Animate CC. This research will produce a multimedia application introduction to how to weave TTU regency weaving to introduce and maintain local customs and culture based on the process of producing a woven motif
