Abstract

The development of housing complexes if the placement is not considered in the regional spatial layout can cause traffic generation which greatly affects the balance of transportation on the surrounding road network. Transportation problems can arise due to the increase in urban population, increase in income, increase in vehicle ownership and the construction of housing facilities around the city. As it is known that land in the downtown area, especially in the city of Kupang, is included in the residential area, and several complementary public facilities such as the Kupang Pharmacy campus, Women's and Children's Prison, the Immigration Office and several other public facilities located along Jalan Pharmacy, Liliba village. , Oebobo sub-district, Kupang City (it is already quite crowded, where traffic problems often occur, from the traffic flow which is increasing day by day, especially during peak hours. From the problems above, a study was carried out with the following results: Area area research = 2,281,232.04 m² with a total value of the morning trip rate = 0.89238 pcu/hour, the afternoon trip rate = 0.70250 pcu/hour so the total trip rate value = 1,595 pcu/hour.
