Abstract

Kupang also has a lot of beach tourism with unique names and also has a unique charm. One of them is Batu Nona Beach, located on Jalan Timor Raya Km 10, Oesapa Village, Kelapa Lima District, Kupang, NTT. The waves on the beach were quite calm. The location is on the bay so it's not too crowded. Visitors who come can enjoy a calm atmosphere with small waves and gentle breezes and stunning beach views. With the advantages possessed by Batu Nona Beach, it can be an attraction for tourists. There is still the design’s minimal provision of accommodation facilities to support tourism activities in this area. Therefore, the design of this design is to present an accommodation facility as a means to support tourist activities in the form of a resort hotel with an organic architectural approach where the concept is inspired by nature so that it can give the user the impression of being close to nature. From the above, two principles of organic architecture are applied, namely building as nature which is applied to the shape of the building with a curved shape following the dynamic nature of nature and of the materials which uses several natural materials such as wood and natural stone in the building to create a natural impression.
