Abstract

The National Border Post or commonly abbreviated as PLBN is an access link between two countries as well as the economic gateway of two countries. As the current liaison access, it is necessary to develop supporting facilities by the government. One of the PLBNs that need the development of supporting facilities is the Wini PLBN. PLBN Wini is located in Humusu Wini Village, North Insana District, North Central Timor Regency. PLBN Wini has many issues and problems that need to be discussed. Starting from the security aspect where border areas tend to be located in remote areas, so there needs to be supervision from related parties. to the problems of socio-economic aspects such as cases of smuggling fuel and narcotics, as well as cases of illegal logging. In response to this, the design of the Border Market is very much needed to overcome these problems. By using the Neo Vernacular Architecture approach as a solution to the Market design problem. The presence of this Border Market also gives an impression, capable of elevating culture, mindset, belief, layout that refers to the macro cosmos, and religion.
