Abstract

The problems studied in this thesis are 1) why can modeling techniques through group guidance be used to increase students' self-confidence? 2) What is the procedure for using modeling techniques through group guidance to increase students' self-confidence? 3) is the modeling technique through group guidance effective to increase students' self-confidence? students' self-confidence, and 3) the effectiveness of modeling techniques through group guidance to improve students' self-esteem. The writing of this thesis uses a literature study method with qualitative descriptive data types. The object of study in this paper is modeling techniques through group guidance and students' self-confidence, with secondary data sources, in the form of expert opinions and relevant previous researchers. The results of the discussion are: the reason for modeling through group guidance can increase students' self-confidence because through modeling techniques students form new behaviors in students such as being confident in themselves, not depending on others, feeling valuable and not hesitant in carry out his work. The procedure for using modeling through group guidance to increase self-confidence is carried out through five stages of implementing group guidance, namely the creation, activity, conclusion and closing stages, the activity stage is carried out 4 stages of modeling techniques, namely paying attention to what to do before modeling is done, suggesting model behavior Similarly, observing the model and concluding the results of the demonstration, students demonstrate the behavior of the model. The effectiveness of modeling techniques through group guidance to increase self-confidence is evidenced by several relevant articles from previous research. The results of the research conducted to prove that the use of modeling techniques through group guidance is effective in increasing students' selfconfidence. Based on the discussion given to; 1). so that it is expected to increase knowledge, understanding and skills regarding the implementation of modeling techniques through group guidance to increase students' self-confidence, so that the author will become a professional BK teacher and 2). Readers are expected to further deepen their knowledge and understanding of the importance of implementing modeling techniques through group guidance to increase students' self-confidence.
