Abstract

Learning achievement as a change in behavior covers three domains in the taxonomy of Bloom, namely cognitive, affective and psychomotor. Research problems in this study are (1) What is the picture of learning motivation, learning methods, infrastructure facilities and learning accomplishment of Kencana Sakti Vocational High School Students of Kupang? (2) Does the learning motivation, learning methods and infrastructure means partially have a positive and significant effect on student learning achievement at Kencana Sakti Vocational School of Kupang? (3) Whether learning motivation, learning methods and infrastructure facilities simultaneously have a positive and significant effect on student learning achievement in Kencana Sakti Vocational high School Students of Kupang?. Research population in this study was 378 students of Kencana Sakti Vocational High School with samples taken was 80 respondents. The sample sampling technique uses stratified random sampling. Data is collected through questionnaires or observation and analized them by using descriptive statistics and inferential statistics (multiple linear regression). The results of descriptive analysis showed that learning motivation (X1) were in the very good category with the achievements of 84.6% indicators, learning methods (X2) were in the very good category ,that is, 87.8% indicators, infrastructure facilities (X3) were in the very good category with 91.6% indicator achievements and student learning achievement (Y) were in the very good category as well with 89.7% indicator achievements. The results of inferential statistical analysis showed that both partially and simultaneously learning motivation (X1), learning methods (X2), infrastructure facilities (X3) have a positive and significant effect on learning achievement (Y). The contribution of the three indenpendent variables based on the results of the F test was found significantly to the dependent variable indicated by a significant value of 0,000 <0.05. Based on the results of this study that the learning method used by teachers in teaching process must be supported by adequate infrastructure facilities so that it can make and increase student learning motivation for reaching good score on National Examination.
