Abstract
Model of cooperative learning type Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD) is a type of cooperative learning that requires learners to be able to work in groups and then present the results in front of the class. The main problem in this research is whether the cooperative learning model of Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD) to the results of student learning class VII on the subject matter of environmental pollution in Elpida Private Junior High School Noelbaki Kupang academic year 2017/2018. The purpose of this research is to know the influence of cooperative learning model of Student Teams Achievement Division type to the result of student study of Class VII on the subject matter of environmental pollution at Private Elpida Noelbaki Kupang Junior High School in 2017/2018, which design research using One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The result of the research are: Student learning outcomes after the implementation of cooperative learning model of Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD) type, there is an increase of pretest value to posttest from average value 39,59 to 88,82. as well as classically the class is all completed with the achievement of 100% completeness and completion of four indicators of learning to be achieved with the average proportion of 0.88. Based on the results of descriptive analysis of research data shows that in general the application of cooperative learning model type Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD) has an effect on the result of student learning VII Elpida Private Junior High School Noelbaki Kupang Academic Year 2017/2018 on environmental pollution material.
