Abstract
Education Requires An Atmosphere Of Learning That Can Develop Self-Potential And Skills To Apply Knowledge In Facing The Real World. Therefore, Our Education Paradigm Is Shifting From Teacher Cantered To Student Cantered. One Of The Learning Models That Can Answer This Challenge Is The Application Of Discovery Learning Model. This Model Is Believed To Be Able To Teach Students To Be Actively Involved Directly In The Learning Process Because Students Will Be Guided And Required To Seek And Find Their Own Problems Or Problems Given. The Purpose Of This Research Is To Know The Influence Of Application Of Learning Model Of Discovery Learning To Student Learning With The Main Focus On Material Of System Excretion In Humans At 13 Government Middle School – Kupang Academic Year Of 2017/2018. The Type Of Research Used Is Quasi Experiment. The Research Design Is Nonequivalent Pre-Test-Post-Test Control Group Design. Data Were Collected Through Observation And Tests. Data Analysis Techniques Use Descriptive Analysis, Inferential Analysis, And Analysis Of One-Way Covariance And T-Test. The Results Showed That The Value Of Student Learning Outcomes After Being Treated By Applying Learning Discovery Learning Model That Is 80.36 While Direct Learning 75.89. The Results Of This Study Indicate The Influence Of The Application Of Learning Discovery Learning Model To Student Learning Outcomes With The Value Of Probability (Sign.) 0.000 Ttable Is 19,739> 2,485 With Significant Level 0,000 T-Table Is 13,620> 2,485 With Significant Level 0,000 While for direct learning, tcount> t-table is 13,620> 2,485 with significant level 0,000 <0,01. The conclusion of this research is the effect of applying the learning discovery learning model and the direct learning to the students' learning outcomes of grade VIII on the subject matter of the excretion system in humans at 13 Government Middle School – Kupang academic year of 2017/2018, and there are differences in the value of learning outcomes between the two study groups.
