Abstract

The main problem in this research is how the result of the application of contextual approach of the subject matter of temperature and its change to the students of class VIIG SMPK St. Theresia Kupang Lesson Year 2017/2018? Specifically the problems in this study are (1) how the ability of teachers in managing the learning activities of the subject matter of temperature and its changes in the students of class VIIG SMPK Sta. Theresia Kupang by applying contextual learning approach? (2) How is the completeness of the learning result of the subject matter of temperature and its change in the students of class VIIG SMPK Sta. Theresia Kupang by applying contextual approach? (3) How is the learning outcomes of students of class VIIG SMPK Sta. Theresia Kupang on the subject matter of temperature and its change after applying contextual approach? (4) What is the learner's response to the learning activity on the subject matter of temperature and its change by applying contextual learning approach? The purpose of this study is to describe the learning outcomes by applying the contextual learning approach of the subject matter of temperature and its changes to the students of class VIIG SMPK Sta. Theresia Kupang Lesson 2017/2018. Specifically, the purpose of this study is to find out (1) Describe the ability of teachers in managing the learning activities of the subject matter of temperature and its changes in the students of class VIIG SMPK Sta. Theresia Kupang by applying contextual learning approach, (2) Describing mastery of learning result indicator of subject matter of temperature and its change in class VIP students SMPK STA. Theresia Kupang by applying Contextual Approach, (3) Describe the result of physics learners of VIIG SMPK STA classroom students. Theresia Kupang on the subject matter of mass after applying the contextual approach, (4) Describe the learner's response to the learning activity on the subject matter of temperature and its change by applying contextual learning approach. The type of research is descriptive research and research subjects are teachers (researchers) and students VIIG grade SMPK Sta. Theresia Kupang Lesson Year 2017/2018 which amounted to 25 people. Learning tools used are Teaching Materials Learners (BAPD), Syllabus, Learning Implementation Plan (RPP), Student Learning Worksheets (LKPD), Learning Grid and Test Products (THB), affective and Psychomotor. Technique used to collect data in this research is Observation, Test and Questionnaire. Instruments used in this study are Observation Sheet Management Learning, Test Results Learning (THB) and Sheets Response Students. Data analysis techniques in this study is descriptive analysis by calculating the average value, percentage, and proportion. Based on the results of descriptive analysis of research data shows that in general the application of contextual learning is optimal for the subject matter of temperature and its changes in the class VIIG students semester odd SMPK Sta. Theresia Kupang Lesson Year 2017/2018 which amounted to 25 people.
