Abstract

Thesis 2021, “The Function of Gemohing (a kind of society mutual assistance) as a mutual assistance tool for Farmer Group of Buckwheat in Pajinian Village, West Adonara District, East Flores Regency ” (A case study of Pajinian Village Society, West Adonara District, East Flores Regency). The main problem in this research is How is the Function of Gemohing as a mutual assistance for Farmer Group of Buckwheat In Pajinian Village, West Adonara District, East Flores Regency. This research is also to describe and analyze the function of Gemohing as a mutual assistance for Farmer Group of Buckwheat in Pajinian Village, West Adonara District, east Flores Regency. The informants in this research are fifteen people and all of them are men. The technique of sample taking in this research is Purposive Sampling. The research method used in this research is Descriptive Method. The data collection is carried out by observing the activities done by the people in the Farmer Group of Buckwheat, and by deep interviewing with those informants about how is the function of Gemohing as mutual assistance for Farmer Group of Buckwheat in Pajinian Village, Wset Adonara District, East Flores Regency. The technique of data analysis in this research is descriptive qualitative by explaining and describing the situation happened in the research location. The result of field research shows that the farmer group of buckwheat in Pajinian Village as a group that function to gather the member of society of farmer to make effort together in increasing the welfare of the member and the society in the Gemohing group, and the values in Gemohing group like helping each other, mutual help and to increase high solidarity among the members of group especially, in Farmer Group of Buckwheat in Pajinian Village. The conclusion of this research is in the function of Gemohing as a mutual assistance for Farmer Group of Buckwheat in Pajinian Village, West Adonara District, East Flores Regency. Gemohing as a social organization inherited from one generation to other in Pajinian Village, so it is supposed to be always kept and preserved to young generation because Gemohing has very important social cultural value and give the direction in the expansion of perception and the knowledge in managing the organization of Gemohing.
