Abstract

Thesis title: the effectiveness of game techniques through group guidance to increase students' self-confidence. The problems studied in this thesis are: 1) why are game techniques through group guidance used to increase students' self-confidence? 2) What is the procedure for using game techniques through group guidance to increase students' self-confidence? 3) Is the use of game techniques through group guidance effective to increase students' self-confidence? group guidance to increase students' self-confidence, and 3) the effectiveness of game techniques through group guidance to increase students' self-confidence. The writing of this thesis uses the literature study method with the object of study being game techniques through group guidance and students' self-confidence, and the source of the data is secondary data. The results of the discussion are: the reason for the game technique through group guidance which is used to increase the confidence of students because through game techniques students can learn to grow self-confidence in learning and in carrying out activities of daily life. The procedure for using games through guidance groups to increase students' selfconfidence is carried out through five stages of guidance, namely the creation, activity, conclusion and closing stages. At the stage of implementing the game technique with the stages: determining game participants, providing playing tools, explaining the purpose of the game, playing, concluding, and closing. The effectiveness of game techniques through group guidance to increase students' self-confidence as evidenced by relevant previous research results. Based on the discussion, the authors provide suggestions to: 1). BK teachers are expected to further improve their skills in applying the game through group guidance to increase students' self-confidence. 2). The author is expected to increase knowledge, understanding, and skills in applying the game through group guidance to increase students' self-confidence.
