Abstract
The positive impact that is felt from the development of technology is the easier all human work assisted by computer applications and hardware used. One is the application of expert systems in which experts or experts can transform their knowledge into computers and computers that act as experts. Expert system to diagnose skin disease by forward chaining method at RSUD Dr. Hendrikus Fernandez Larantuka is built using the PHP 5.6 programming language, the CodeIgniter 3.1.4 and Bootsrap 3.3.7 frameworks. System development method used is expert system life cycle where all application controls are tested by using blackbox testing technique shows all the menu and control on the application goes according to user expectation. The results obtained are that the service of skin disease diagnosis in RSUD Dr. Hendrikus Fernandez Larantuka has become easier than ever before, despite the lack of medical staff or dermatologist and inadequate medical equipment.
