Abstract

The Computer Science Study Program Student Association does not yet have an application that supports the process of providing information related to student activities, awards received by students, work programs, and administrative processes from HMPS. This resulted in students also lacking information about activities outside of lecture hours such as the annual activities of the Computer Science HMPS. Therefore, it is necessary to apply a website-based information system to the Computer Science Study Program Student Association. This study uses the Prototype method which has several stages in it while the programming language used in building this application includes PHP (Personal Homepage-Hypertext Preprocessor) and the CodeIgniter framework. In addition, the database used is MySQL (My Structured Query Language) as a data storage medium. Based on the test results, it can be concluded that the application of the information system of the computer science student association website-based study program is able to support and answer the shortcomings that exist in the Computer Science HMPS in order to get the latest information. This system is also in accordance with the existing design
