Abstract

Ovilia R. Djami, NIM 8112152034 MM "The Influence of Training, Work Discipline and Motivation on Employee Performance at Kopdit Swasti Sari Kupang". Under the guidance of Thomas Ola Langoday and Gaudensius Djuang. The phenomenon of Kopdit Swasti Sari Kupang office is the lack of employee invloment in training activities, the discipline of the employess towards the hours of entry and exit office is still very low and the lack of motivation such as encouragement and praise on the performance results of employess of Kopdit Swati Sari Kupang. The formulation of this research question is 1) How is the description of training, work discipline, motivation and performance of employees at Kopdit Swasti Sari Kupang? 2) Is the training, work discipline and motivation partially significant effect on the performance of employees at Kopdit Swasti Sari Kupang? 3) Is the training, work discipline and motivation simultaneously having a significant effect on the employee's performance on Kopdit Swasti Sari Kupang? The research objectives are 1) To know the description of training, work discipline, motivation and performance of employees at Kopdit Swasti Sari Kupang; 2) To know the significance of the effect of training, work discipline and motivation partially on the employee's performance on the Kopdit Swasti Sari Kupang; 3) To know the significance of training, work discipline and motivation simultaneously on the performance of employees at Kopdit Swasti Sari Kupang. The sample in this research is amounted to 100 employees at the Kopdit Swasti Sari Kupang. This study used a saturated sampling technique in which all members of the population employees at Kopdit Swasti Sari Kupang were sampled. Data were collected using questionnaires and documentation studies. The data of the research were analyzed by using descriptive and inferential statistic analysis. The result showed 1) descriptively, respondent perception about training 80,72%, work discipline 81,74%, motivation equal to 81,56%, and employee performance equal to 81,78% good category; 2) partially training variables (X1), work discipline (X2) and motivation (X3) have a significant effect on the performance of employees at Kopdit Swasti Sari Kupang; 3) simultaneously training variables (X1), work discipline (X2) and motivation (X3) have an effect on signifikan to employee performance at Kopdit Swasti Sari Kupang. The contribution of three independent variables to dependent variable is 65% while the rest of 35% is influenced by other variables outside research. Based on the results of this study, can be done by implementing training programs in accordance with predetermined schedules and more firmly in applying the rules of discipline to employees so they can play an active role in training activities, can be done by evaluating all employee's work and giving gradual sanction for employees who are not obedient to company regulations, can be done by giving encouragement, recognition or appreciation either in the form of praise or in the form of incentive to employees who have shown work performance.
