Abstract

The education sector in East Manggarai district continues to increase. The lack of dissemination of school information causes difficulties for the community. People who want to get information will visit the desired school. There are also those who hear information by word of mouth which causes their mindset to change because their concentration of choice will be focused on only a few schools. This study aims to create a geographic information system for mapping and presenting information about schools in East Manggarai district with the method used is the waterfall method. The results of this system display school information, school location and school conditions in real-time Web-based.
