Abstract

Thesis title: the effectiveness of the application of role playing techniques through group guidance to improve student learning discipline. The problems studied in this thesis are 1) why can role playing techniques through group guidance be used to increase student learning discipline? 2) how is the process of implementing role playing techniques through group guidance to improve student learning discipline? 3) what is the application role playing techniques through effective group guidance to increase student learning discipline ?. The purpose of writing this thesis is 1) knowing the reasons for the importance of implementing role playing techniques through group guidance to increase student learning discipline, 2) knowing the process of implementing role playing techniques through group guidance to increase student learning discipline, 3) knowing the effectiveness of implementing role techniques playing through group guidance to improve student learning discipline. The method of study is literature study. The object of study is in the form of role playing techniques, group guidance, learning discipline. The data source in writing this thesis is a secondary data source. The type of data is qualitative data. The results of the study indicate that role playing technique is the right technique to use to improve student learning discipline. The technique of role playing through group guidance is carried out in four stages, namely the formation stage, the intermediate stage, the activity stage and the closing stage. Furthermore, the steps of the role playing technique are warming up, setting the scene, choosing roles, acting, sharing and feedback, reenacting, following up. and the closing stage. Role playing techniques through group guidance are effective for improving student learning discipline as evidenced by the articles of previous research that are relevant to the topic of this thesis. Based on the results of this thesis study, the authors advise 1) readers to use this thesis to deepen their knowledge and skills in applying role playing techniques through group guidance to improve student learning discipline, and 2) this thesis is expected to add insight and skills. the author in applying role playing techniques through group guidance to overcome problems experienced by students, especially problems of learning discipline.
